Who we are
Harmony of Faith, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit choir and orchestra in Florida. This policy explains what information this website (harmonyoffaith.org) collects and how it is used. Questions can go to info@harmonyoffaith.org.
What this website collects
This website does not have accounts, does not use advertising or analytics trackers, and does not set cookies of its own (the Spotify player is the exception, see below). If you close the announcement banner at the top of the page, your browser remembers that for the current visit only. It is not sent to us. Our website host, Cloudflare, may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and reliability.
Information you give us through other services
Some buttons on this site send you to a service run by someone else. What you type there goes to that service, and to us as described below.
- Google Forms. Choir and orchestra registration, and the “notify me when tickets are available” list, use Google Forms. We receive the answers you submit, such as name, email address, city and instrument or voice part. Google’s privacy policy applies to the form itself.
- Givebutter. Donations and ticket purchases are handled by Givebutter. We do not see or store your card details. We receive the information Givebutter shares with us, such as your name, email address and the amount and date of your gift or order. Givebutter’s privacy policy applies to that process.
- YouTube. Videos on this site do not load until you press play. When you do, the video loads from YouTube (using its privacy-enhanced mode), and YouTube’s policies apply.
- Spotify and Google Drive. The Lamb of God album player on the Home and Performer Resources pages loads from Spotify when you scroll to it. Spotify may set its own cookies and see that you visited, and Spotify’s policies apply. Sheet music samples and schedule documents open on Google Drive.
- Maps and calendars. “Directions” links open Google Maps. “Add to calendar” files are created in your browser and are not sent to us.
- Email. If you email us, we keep your message and address so we can reply.
How we use information
- To run rehearsals and performances, and to place and contact volunteers.
- To email you about ticket sales, schedules and Harmony of Faith news if you asked us to.
- To thank donors and keep records as required for a non-profit.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with advertisers. We share it only with the volunteers and service providers who need it to run Harmony of Faith, or when the law requires it.
Photos, video and stories
Photos and video may be taken at rehearsals and performances and used to promote Harmony of Faith. If you do not want to appear in them, tell a member of the team or email us. Stories on the Voices page are shared only with the permission of the person who wrote them, and you can ask us to change or remove yours at any time.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to take you off any email list, by emailing info@harmonyoffaith.org. Every announcement email will offer a way to unsubscribe.
Children
This website is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. Parents or guardians should complete registration for young performers.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date above.
